Understanding the Relationship Between Accreditation and Endorsement
IHELC provides institutional accreditation and endorsement services to help institutions, credential providers, and learners understand quality, credibility, and educational standards.
What Is IHELC’s Accreditation?
Accreditation is a system of evaluating a college or university to ensure it provides a quality education experience. It reviews institutional standards, governance, academic programs, operations, and student support.
When an institution achieves accreditation, it demonstrates that it meets recognized standards for quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What Is IHELC’s Endorsement?
Endorsement is a quality review process for short-term credential providers, training organizations, and professional learning programs.
Endorsement is not the same as accreditation. It confirms that a provider has met specific quality expectations, but it does not grant institutional accreditation status.
Learners and organizations should review provider details carefully before making academic, professional, or financial decisions.
